Stupidity...& chocolate frappicino's {ALEX}

Gabriella wandered through the corridors, her books in her hands. She was sipping her low fat chocolate frappicino, she'd missed Starbucks in England. Her mind was far away, full with thoughts about how today might go. Today was her first day of homeschooling, because her dad had somehow found out about her skipping for the past few days so had made sure she didn't skip today. She hated this, so as she rushed through the corridors she wasn't paying any attention at all. It was really just a matter of time before...boom. She'd speed walked right into somebody & not only that her frappicino had soaked them.... she felt so bad about it. "I am so sorry!" She muttered, flushing with embarrassment. She was so god damn stupid, why couldn't she do something smart for once!

OUTFIT

Alex, noting that he was running late for his lesson, was almost running down the hall when...you know the rest. Luckily, he didn't fall on his ass and make himself look even more of an idiot and luckily the person he'd ran into was drinking a Frappucino and not a hot drink. Even so, Alex's uniform was soaked with the cold beverage. "Um-I-Uh.." Alex stammered a little, looking down at his uniform. When the girl(yes, girl!) apologised, Alex glanced quickly up at her. "No, no! It was my fault." The boy disagreed with a smile. "Also, if you board here, you learn to keep spare sets of clean uniform in your closet. In case Evan and Ethan are handed sugar." He laughed quietly, holding out one of his hands--the one that wasn't covered in Frappucino. "I'm Alex, by the way. Alex Clearwater." He introduced with a friendly smile.

Gabriella smiled, she was so used to having someone shout at her when she ran into them. She quickly moved her books to her other arm, so she could hold out her hand for him to shake. "I'm Gabriella, Gabriella Dalton. It's nice to meet you." She introduced herself, happily. "Though, really it was my fault I should've been looking were I was going." The brunetted added, apologetically. She still smiled, though.

Alex smiled and shook her hand politely and smiled. "As it's nice to meet you." He responded formally, waving away the girl's protest. If there was one thing Dalton taught you, it was politeness. And to stay away from the twins when that had Nerf guns... "Gab-... Gabriella Dalton?" Alex asked, surprised. "As in..." The blonde gestured wildly around them at nothing but air.

The brunette sighed, looking at the floor. "Yes, as in Dalton, Dalton." She replied, looking back up. She hated when people talked like that too her, did it really matter who she was? She smiled though, like always. She'd sort of got used to it now, but it still irritated her most of the time.

"Cool." Alex shrugged, over the surprise already. He smiled and buries his hands deeply into the pockets of his slacks. Only then did Alex remember about class but decided he'd missed nearly half of the lesson anyway, so he just stayed where he was. "So... Do you wanna..." Alex trailed off. His experience around girls was almost non-existent. Apart from his sister but she barely counted as a girl. He knew, though, that he was being too forward when he said, "..go for coffee or something?"

Gabriella smiled sweetly, her cheeks going a light rosey color that was hardly noticeable but she knew it was there & that's what mattered. She knew that she had 'school' but she'd missed most of it already, so what was the point in going now? Her father would still have a go anyway, so she just nodded. "I'd like that, sure." She smiled, looking at the floor then back at him.

Alex, whose gaze had dropped to the marble floor while he waited for the brunette's answer, glanced up at Gabriella with a bright smile. He knew he had plenty of time because he had a free next period then PE which, at this point in the year, could be skipped to study or catch up on homework. He began walking slowly beside Gabriella toward the big oak exit. "Awesome." He replied quietly, still smiling. Alex saw Reed, Evan and Ethan, all of Windsor house, pass him with a puzzled look. The twins looked as if they wanted to see what was happening but by the look on Reed's face, he'd had another accident an the twins had to walk him to the infirmary.

Gabriella followed behind him, smiling to herself. Then, as they passed a group of boys in navy & red blazers on the way to the exit she simply smiled to them. They looked like they'd done something wrong, or something. Though, she wasn't one to pry so just tried to ignore it as they carried on toward the doors.

Alex almost facepalmed when Gabriella received the stares she so clearly didn't want. "Sorry about them." He murmured to the brunette as he pushed open the front door of Dalton and exited into the courtyard, holding the door for Gabriella. "They get a little overexcited." He chuckled. Even living in Hanover, across campus from Windsor, Alex still knew what Ethan and Evan could be like.

"S'okay. Boys will be boys right?" She laughed, stepping outside then waiting for him to come too. Gabriella gazed across the whole expanse of the campus, to be honest in the sun it didn't look too bad. She laughed to herself at how imposing she used to find it, before returning her attention to reality.

Alex let the door close behind them as he began walking with Gabriella once more. He glanced briefly at the brunette when she laughed before shrugging and turning his attention back to not tripping or anything. Alex wondered idly whether they should take a car or walk--the walk was only fifteen minutes but maybe Gabriella would want to take a car. Or maybe she'd want to just go get coffee in the cafeteria or the student kitchen.

"Where are we going then?" The brunette smiled, looking up at Alex. After all, there were plenty of places to get coffee but Gabriella didn't really mind where. Just skipping school was good enough for her, so she waited for his reply while twisting a piece of hair around her finger.

"Well.. We could go to the Starbucks in the city. I'll replace the Frapp-" Alex cut off before remembering his uniform and looking down again. Suddenly, he understood the odd look on the twins' faces. "I...need to change." He chuckled slightly, glancing over a Hanover House.

"Yeah, it would probably make sense if you did but I'm good for starbucks. So, I'll just go put my books away and meet you out here?" Gabriella asked, smiling. It would be fun to go out of the academy with someone.

"Sure!" Alex replied with a smile. "See ya in a few!" He added before mentally cussing himself for being so lame. He turned and jogged toward Hanover. He ran up the three staircases and found his room quickly, panting a little from the exertion. He didn't want to keep Gabriella waiting after she'd put her books away. Alex quickly pulled off his slacks and switched into jeans. He tossed his soiled blazer onto the ground and half-undid his tie before yanking it over his head. He unbuttoned his White shirt and tossed tha on the ground, too. Luckily, Alex had been wearing the blazer so the Frappucino hadn't soaked though and made his skin sticky so there was no need for a shower. Alex hadn't realised until he was pulling the shirt over his head that he was standing near the window--the window that looked out into the courtyard. He quickly ducked out of the way and finished pulling on his shirt. He grabbed his cell and wallet and stuffed them into his jeans pockets. When he was done, he Headed out of the door again and down the staircases and out into the breeze.


OUTFIT HURR

Gabriella wasn't long, because she didn't want to risk the chance of her tutor noticing her. So, she quickly ran in & ran into the cupboard that contained all the sanitary supplies, then she made her way through the piles of mess toward the box labeled 'Block Soap'. It would seem to anyone else a bad, stupid place to hide her stuff, but it wasn't. Nobody ever went to that box, it must've been sat there for years. So, she made her way back out trying her hardest not to knock anything over. She didn't want to cause unnecessary noise just in case. Then, she quickly smoothed down her outfit & headed back outside. The brunette took a seat on one of the small stone walls which were like a concrete barrier along the edges of the steps. While she sat she played with a little bit of hair that had come out of her ponytail, like usual. That's when she caught sight of some movement in one of the windows in the dorms, she couldn't help taking a quick glance but when she did whatever or whoever it was had moved. Gabrielle hadn't been waiting long before she caught sight of Alex again. So, she hopped off the concrete block & stood there waiting for him.

Alex walked closer to Gabriella, smiling. He greeted the brunette with a quiet 'hi' again when he reached her. He glanced at the building to make sure they hadn't been seen as of yet, before turning back to Gabriella. "Shall we head off?" He smiled. He still didn't know whether they would walk or take a car but, with Gabriella, he didn't mind at all.

"Sure." The brunette smiled, waiting for Alex to start walking before she did. Gabriella always did that, she'd wait for another person to move before she did. Sometimes it caused awkwardness, but she couldn't help it...it was habit. Though, luckily it didn't make this situation awkward. She quietly followed along side Alex, smiling still.

Alex smiled a little before watching the ground as he walked, burying his hands in his pockets. "So, have you met the Warblers yet?" Alex asked with a light laugh. The Warblers were usually the main attraction for newcomers. They performed often.
