Blaine's Dorm

Blaine laid back on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. For the past hour, he had been bored because he had no homework left to finish, no songs to Practise without the Warblers and no Kurt. The Warbler sighed loudly and sat up, heading across the room, he dug out his guitar from the corner. As if on cue, as soon as he'd set the instrument on the unnecessary spare bed, there was a loud knock at the door and he knew it was his classmates, and not Gabriella. He half-prances across the room and pulled open the door with one eyebrow raised. "One thing. Guys, if you annoy either Kurt, Gabriella or I, you're gone." He said seriously but he couldn't keep it up. He chuckled softly before stepping aside and letting the small group of Warblers in where they promptly collapsed onto the floor and into chairs.

Gabriella had been in her fathers office for well over an hour, they'd argued of course. The brunette wasn't surprised to see no change in her fathers attitude, as much as he probably wasn't surprised to see no change in hers. As she stormed out of his office, she managed to slam the heavy oak doors. The noise echoed around the whole academy, which was now virtually empty. Then, she made her way angrily toward the room where she had slept two years ago which was at the bottom of the hall. It also was the place she'd be sleeping in from now on, the same old furniture & wallpaper covered the room. The feel of the carpet beneath her feet was even the same, she managed to calm down when she was on her own. After all, she didn't want to go to see Blaine when she was angry as hell. That wouldn't be good, so instead she decided to change her outfit. Hoping that by the time she was done all of the anger would've drained out of her.

It worked, when she'd finally finished getting changed she was a lot calmer. At that moment she also swore to herself she was going to try & stay out of her fathers way from now on. Not only did it get her irritated, it wasn't good for her either. Maybe in a few weeks she'd speak to him again & try to make him see sense, she highly doubted he would but it was worth a try. She then made her way out of her room & toward the dorm room Blaine had given her. She climbed out of her second story window & down the tree that was right outside it. She didn't want to risk her fathers endless questions on where she was going & what she was doing.

When she arrived at his dorm, she knocked lightly on the door. Her mind was trying to push the angry past hours behind her, so that it wouldn't anger her & she could just have a nice evening.

Blaine sat, watching Jeff and Wes fight over a bag of chips they had found in one of Blaine's cupboards. He sighed impatiently as he wandered over to take another one out of the bag of potato chips. He didn't know why they couldn't be normal people for once or why Blaine was always the sensible one with them around.

"Door!" One of the Warblers yelled. "Thanks for the tip, Nick." Blaine replied sarcastically before crossing the room once again. He pulled open the door and immediately stepped aside, smile a quiet 'hello'to te girl at the door.

Gabrielle smiled as Blaine opened the door. "Hey" She spoke, happily. As she stepped inside, looking around the dormatory. She smiled at the rest of the boys, who looked at her. It was weird because she'd never actually been in any of the dorm rooms before. Though, she had seen them sometimes. Most of her time here she spent in her bedroom being home schooled or writing songs or something.

"Welcome to Blaine Anderson's humble abode." Wes received a chip to the face from Jeff. "He said not to be annoying, you hobbit." Jeff berated the older boy. Blaine sighed. "Welcome back to Dalton Academy." He murmured to Gabriella. "Hey! Blainey-boy's the hobbit! And a clueless one." Wes muttered the last part so Blaine wasn't quite sure What had been said. As they made fun of his height, Blaine crossed over to the bed where he sat exasperatedly on it. He felt his cell vibrate next to him and he picked it up. 'Hey, where are you all?? Mercedes is sick so we called off the shopping. -K x' Blaine smiled and quickly typed back a message. 'In my dorm, even though most of them won't be if they keep making fun of my height. Save me, Kurtyyy ): -B x' Blaine almost laughed at how ridiculous their conversations were. Receiving a final message from Kurt, Blaine set his phone back on the bed and waited for the door to knock. 'On my way, Super!Kurt to the rescue! -K xx'.

Gabriella giggled, there was something about the bond the Warblers shared. They treated each other like family, that was what created the funny, happy atmosphere. It was cool to be in a place were she felt accepted, where no one judged her. It had been like, forever since she had been accepted like this. "This is so different to what I'm use to"

Blaine's expression turned into a mix of thoughtfulness and amusement. "Yeah, you're not the first person to have said that." He grinned. The door was knocked meekly and Blaine smiled. "Come in, Kurt!" He called. Wes gasped loudly as Kurt walked through the door. "Blaine's psychic!" He whispered loudly to his friends. Blaine rolled his eyes and smiled widely at his newly-arrived friend. "Hey!" He beamed, watching Kurt take a seat on the bed next to Blaine's guitar. "Oh, feel free to take a seat anywhere." He said to Gabriella.

Gabbriella smiled at Kurt when he walked in, then took a seat on the arm of the couch. She felt a little out of place, but how was she meant to fit in, in a place where she was the only girl? So, she wasn't surprised that she felt like she didn't fit in. Instead, she focused on the feeling of acceptance that she felt. It made her feel like maybe she could convince her dad to let her do what she wanted. It was cool.

As soon as everybody was sat down, the group of Warblers(excluding Kurt and Blaine) began chanting for a song. Blaine sighed and shook his head. "You guys just can't be quiet for two minutes?" He laughed as most of them just shook their heads seriously.

"Oh come on" Gabrielle joked, smiling. Why not join in? It would be alot more fun then just sitting there, awkwardly silent. Plus, they were really good. It'd fun.

Blaine glances at Kurt, sighing quietly. Kurt nodded at Blaine and they both turned back to the others. "Sure." He replied with a smile. The Warblers whispered for a few seconds before they started harmonising and Blaine and Kurt guesses they didn't have a choice in the song. "Here we go again, I kids wanna be more than friends so take it easy on me, I'm afraid you're never satisfied."

Gabrielle smiled, as they began harmonizing. It felt like she'd been back for ages, the whole sense of fun in the room. Like she knew all of them already, when she obviously didn't. She couldn't help the bright grin from appearing on her face, their music was so good.

Blaine smiled at Kurt as he began singing. "Here we go again we're just like animals we play-pretend you're just a cannibal and I'm afraid I won't get out alive." Blaine turned and smiled widely at Gabrielle as he started singing. "No, I won't sleep tonight. Oh-oh, I want some more, oh-oh, what are you waiting for, take a bite of my heart tonight, Oh-oh I want some more, oh-oh what are you waiting for, what are you waiting for? Say goodbye to my heart tonight."

Gabriella smiled back at Blaine, it was kind of funny really. Her dad would probably kill her if he knew she was in one of the dorms, in fact he'd go absolutely mental. Though, she really didn't care. She enjoyed it around these boys, it was a lot better then being with her father or in the reform school or anywhere really.

Blaine and Kurt's voices became soft and quiet as they sung the bridge torture. "Hush hush the world is quiet, hush hush we both can't fight it, it's us that made this mess. Why can't you understand? Well I won't sleep toniiiiiiiiight!"

The brunette couldn't take the grin off her face as she sat there, reciting all of the lyrics in her head as they sung. Her mind focusing on only one thing, the music. She hadn't realized until that very moment how much she actually missed music. It was crazy to even think how long she'd been without it.

As they sung the final chorus, Blaine saw Jeff pick up a pad of paper and begin flipping through it. Blaine knew that he never left any schoolwork on his floor so he knew immediately what it was. He reached behind him and tossed a pillow at Jeff, making him drop the paper.

The Dalton girl laughed as she watched Blaine throw the pillow at one of the other warblers. They really were like a family, like lots of brothers all messing around. The atmosphere between the students at Dalton had got a lot happier since the last time she'd been here, two years ago they all were a lot more serious. She remembered that much of her past experiences with the students, it was kind of funny when you compared that to now.

"Leave it." Blaine warned after the song finished and Nik wet to pick up the pad of Paper. They all ignored him--of course--and were intrigued as to what Blaine wanted to keep a secret. The fact that Blaine's attempts at songwriting were about to be outed embarrassed Blaine to no end.

Gabriella couldn't help but follow behind the group of boys, she was as nosy as hell anyway. As she caught glimpses of the notebook she smiled, then turned heading back over to Blaine. "You write songs?" She asked, smiling brightly.

"Uhm-No, I write nonsense." Blaine laughed nervously, crossing the room to take the paper from the boys.

"Oh c'mon." She replied, rolling her eyes. Then, walking over a little bit faster & grabbing the notebook before Blaine had time to reach it. She began flicking through the pages. "These are really good." She muttered, reading.

Blaine flushed when Gabriella began reading the lyrics he covered his face with one of his hands, more to hide the blush that had crept up into his cheeks. Even with te compliment, his blush only intensified.

"Your really talented Blaine." She replied, wandering back over to him. Giving him to notebook back, with a smile. He was, those songs where really good. Better then the crappy ones she wrote for sure.
